Ale Levre is a sound designer, music composer, DJ, and freelance sound engineer with over 15 years of experience. Based in Milan, he has worked on numerous projects ranging from television spots to music for theatrical plays, advertisements, short films, and other media. Since the beginning of his career, he has composed music and designed sound for numerous theatrical performances, which opened the doors to the theater world. This experience has led him to collaborate with many companies in this sector and in numerous cities across Italy, also as a musician for various theatrical projects, including performances at La Biennale di Venezia and the Teatro Stabile di Torino. He has been playing drums for 25 years, and in the early months of 2021, he joined the psych/doom metal band Ufomammut as the new drummer. Since then, he has recorded two albums and one EP with them and has embarked on European and Italian tours. In 2012, he co-founded the house/techno music project Lowerdose, with which he released four EPs and shared the stage with Klangkarussell, DJ Ralf, Lele Sacchi, Crookers, Joe T Vannelli, Michel Cleis, Pastaboys, Pendulum, Go Dugong, and many others. Their debut single, Jaxx, released on Underground Source Records, was supported by major artists such as Weiss, Andhim, Rick Wakley, and many others. In 2020, he co-founded the new wave/dark disco collective F.U.R.O. (For Underground Ritual Only) and has released music on Curses’ Ombra International, Raibano Records, Nothing Is Real, and Epicure Records.
