B-3, Be Tree, is an interactive installation designed for IF! Festival, that places a living tree at the center of the experience, inviting dialogue between the natural and artificial worlds.
The installation integrates four types of sensors that capture a range of real-time environmental and biological data, processed and translated via four Arduino microcontrollers to transform the inputs into soundscapes and digital visualizations.
Visitors could engage with the installation through four headphones, each representing the sounds generated from the data of a specific sensor. This setup offered a focused and intimate way to experience the interplay between nature and technology, unveiling the otherwise silent dialogue of the tree.
