Go Dugong is the moniker of Giulio Fonseca, an Italian producer, DJ and musician based in Milan.
Deeply influenced by global sounds, his work blends rhythms, languages, instruments, field recordings and samples from around the world. His productions take shape as carefully crafted sonic collages, driven by a collector’s curiosity and an artisan’s precision, resulting in a constantly evolving, globally-minded energy.
His career unfolds across multiple directions, expressed both in his recorded output and in his live and DJ sets, where he freely merges carioca rhythms, boom bap, African influences, psychedelia and UK bass music. He has collaborated with artists such as Populous, Clap! Clap!, El Buho, Témé Tan, Rafael Aragon, Miriam García, Mai Mai Mai, Sun Glitters, Slow Magic and Giraffage.
