Obsessive groove with a funky attitude, that's the essence of Valerio Vaudano’s sound.
Active as a DJ since the early 2000s, Valerio discovered his passion for house music at a young
age, exploring its many shades and forms, with a particular affinity for its underground
expressions. Over time, his musical journey evolved toward a deeper electronic soul, shaping
DJ sets that blend warm deep house textures with colder, more experimental influences such as
minimal and Detroit techno.
Over the two last decade, Valerio has performed across several clubs in Northern Italy and
throughout Europe. As a producer, he has released music on renowned labels including 803
Crystal Grooves, Salted Music, Sungate, Nite Grooves and Nervous Records, sometimes under
his Vaudafunk alias.
His tracks have earned support from heavyweights in the electronic scene, including John
Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Robert Hood, Brian Tappert, The Blessed Madonna, Delano Smith,
Ryan Elliot and Mousse T., among others.
In 2022, Valerio launched Steamy Pizza Box, a vinyl-only imprint dedicated to house music. The
label pays homage to the roots of early ’90s Italo house and the raw spirit of classic Chicago
house, aiming to preserve and evolve that timeless sound.
