PLASTICA is the stage name of Matilde Ferrari, a Verona-born producer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ (b. 1996). Over the years, she has collaborated with artists such as Laila Al Habash, Giuse The Lizia, and Elasi, and worked on sound design projects for brands like Kappa and Vogue. In 2019, she was a finalist at the Jäger Music Lab in Berlin.
She is also a co-founder of POCHE, a collective focused on empowering women in music production. In 2022, she signed with Asian Fake and released her debut EP UV.
As a DJ, PLASTICA has performed at major venues including TEDx Rome at Auditorium Parco della Musica and Allianz Stadium in Turin. She’s a resident DJ at Rocket Club Milan and Radio Raheem. In 2022, she was named an EQUAL Ambassador for Spotify Italy, performing at the official Sanremo Festival 2023 closing party.
